Since Victoria began, the hands of men and women have built our communities. Their struggles and sense of making a contribution for all to benefit have enriched and created the communities that we value today. Though women were always there alongside men, showing leadership, compassion, advocating and caring, their efforts have not always been adequately recognised.
The Victorian Honour Roll for Women is an award to help balance this once overlooked recognition.
The Women’s Honour Roll is currently seeking nominations of women who have shown leadership and excellence in a field of expertise, interest or endeavour or shown outstanding commitment to their community.
